Privacy policy

Declary is published by Prodfact. It is a local-first app for capturing receipt and travel evidence on your phone. Declary does not require an account and does not host your business records on Prodfact servers.

What Declary stores on your device

Depending on how you use the app, Declary may store locally:

• Profile and workspace settings you enter
• Receipt images and extracted expense fields
• Trips, places, vehicles, mileage rates, and exports
• Optional backup-protection material (passphrase/recovery key wrapping)
• Optional cloud-provider connection tokens on device

What Declary does not collect on Prodfact servers

Declary has no Declary/Prodfact backend for your business data. We do not operate user registration, and we do not receive your receipts, trips, or exports as part of normal app use.

Optional cloud sync

If you connect Google Drive, iCloud, OneDrive, Dropbox, or Nextcloud, files you choose to sync are stored in your provider account. Those providers process data under their own privacy terms. Declary only uses the access you grant for Declary folders and sync.

On-device processing

Camera, photo library, microphone, and speech recognition are used only when you capture or dictate evidence. OCR and dictation are processed on device / by the platform frameworks for that purpose. Declary does not upload receipt images to Prodfact for OCR.

Purchases

If sync unlocks are enabled in your build, purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Declary does not receive your full payment card details.

Encryption

The local database is encrypted on device. Optional cloud backups can be protected with a recovery key / passphrase you control. Prodfact cannot recover a lost recovery key or passphrase.

Children

Declary is intended for business and administrative use by adults. It is not directed at children.
